_GOVERNOR OTU'S AIDES COM.COCO BASSEY WELCOME NMCN TEAM FOR COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, OBU DU ACCREDITATION_





The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Nursing Education, Mrs. Uduak Spencer Efem, and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Nursing, Mr. Coco-Bassey Esu, welcomed the NMCN accreditation team led by Mrs. Leo Grace Musa at the College of Nursing Sciences, Obudu, in Obudu LGA, Cross River State. The team's visit was for the professional accreditation of the College's nursing programs.


In attendance to receive the accreditation team were notable dignitaries, including Mrs. Rebecca Etong, Director of Nursing Services for Cross River State; Dr. (Mrs.) Victoria Undeshi, Provost of the College of Nursing, Obudu; Mrs. Mary Esuku, Chairman of the Governing Council; Comrade Josephine Bassey, Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives; and management staff of the College of Nursing, Obudu, among others.


The accreditation visit is a significant milestone for the College of Nursing Sciences, Obudu, as it seeks to reaffirm its commitment to excellence in nursing education. The team's assessment will cover various aspects of the College's programs, including curriculum, faculty, facilities, and clinical training.


With the accreditation, the College aims to enhance the quality of its nursing graduates, meeting the growing healthcare needs of Cross River State and beyond. The visit is expected to culminate in a comprehensive report, paving the way for the College's continued growth and development in nursing education.
