The Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Content, Ambassador Awatt Caleb Ekpenyong has again emphasized that every company in the state as a matter of urgency and policy, must comply to local content plan, local content needs, engagement of indigenes in employments, contracts awards, service delivery and procurement within the regulated percentages.
Amb. Awatt Caleb Ekpenyong who frowned at defiance of the regulations in Calabar said henceforth, the local content monitoring, regulatory and enforcement committee is mandated to commence enforcement on compliance to the local content directives and advised companies, contractors and service providers to comply accordingly.
