*MESSAGE OF CONGRATULATIONS TO HIS EXCELLENCY SEN. PRINCE BASSEY EDET OTU, THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF CROSS RIVER STATE ON APPEAL COURT VICTORY*.
On behalf of Management, staff and students of the University of Calabar, I heartily congratulate His Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu on the victory at the Appeal Court in Lagos, on November the 22nd, 2023.
Your Excellency, over the last five months of your administration, it is very evident that you are set to truly consolidate on the achievements of your predecessors through progressive policies, advancement of social democracy, promotion of internal politics and party discipline, and guaranteeing better life for citizens of our dear State.
I therefore seize this opportunity to plead with political actors, gladiators and groupings in the opposition to sheath all swords and join hands with the visionary leadership of Governor Otu for the good of all, especially that we are into very rough and difficult times in our Nation that calls for political synergy and contribution of ideas in moving our State and Nation forward.
I also Congratulate the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Peter Odey a great support system to our dear Governor for the victory, and all State and National Assembly Members of our dear State, Particularly Malabites and Unical great alumni, and wish all the very best of representation on behalf of the people.
