Today, we acknowledge the significant contributions that men all over the world have made in shaping our society. As fathers, brothers, husbands, friends and mentors, we have stood tall as pillars of strength, leading by example and inspiring future generations to reach for the stars. Our hard work, sacrifice, and determination have propelled us forward, showcasing the immense potential that exists within each and every one of us.
International Men's Day every year provides us with the opportunity to recognise the positive role that men play in our society and to celebrate their bravery, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the development and progress of our society.
And as we mark this year's edition, I would like to, specially celebrate and honour the illustrious men of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency and indeed the entire male population in the world who are in their respective capacities contributing positively to the emergence of a peaceful, safe, progressive and habitable society for all.
As your representative, I am pledging to continue to provide the necessary support for the incredible men of our constituency, empowering them with the requisite skills, knowledge and capital to become successful in their various fields of endeavour. From entrepreneurs to doctors, educators to engineers, farmers to artists, our men have demonstrated exceptional excellence and dedication in their respective spheres and deserve to be encouraged.
I wish you all a happy International Men's Day, even as I look forward to witnessing the continued growth and success of the male child.
