The erstwhile Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade's family has been thrown into deep mourning following the painful death of his beloved sister, late Janet Ateb.
Her demise took the entire family by surprise, it is one event that has changed the mood of the entire Ayade's dynasty for many days to come.
The former Governor of Cross River State Sen. Prof Ben Ayade, who was visibly shaken by the tragic incident, could not hold back tears as he painfully mourned the passing away of the heartbeat of the Ayade's lineage.
The late Janet Unigar was indeed a woman of remarkable characteristics who touched many lives in very positive ways. She will for long be remembered for her kind disposition and the many positive attributes she was known for.
She was interred at the Ateb's compound, Ogoja Road, Betukwel village, Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Late (Mrs) Janet Ateb died at the age of 54 after a brief illness.
Many family members, sympathizers, political associates, and friends attended the burial rites, alongside mourners from across the State and beyond. May the gentle soul of late Janet Ateb nee (Ayade) rest in perfect peace. Amen.
