*SIR MIKE OKIRO, PROF. TUNDE ADENIRAN, PROF. PAT UTOMI, OTUNBA SEGUN SHOWUNMI, PA AYO ADEBANJO, DR. OKWELIEZE NWODO AND NIGERIANS AT HOME AND IN THE DIASPORA ELUGISES LATE CHIEF EZEIFE, CALLS ON THE YOUTH TO BE NATION BUILDERS.*
Protocol!
We give God all the glory for a life well spent. Indeed there is a time for everything under the sun. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to laugh and a time to cry. A time to mourn our beloved ones and a time to celebrate.
To us as a country, Nigeria and as an Organisation, JusticeNOW International/ 9News NIGERIA, it is indeed a time to mourn and celebrate at the same time. This is because the one whose life we gathered yesterday for has lived a life worthy of emulation.
We have officially expressed our condolences for the death of a beloved NATIONALIST in the person of His Excellency Chief Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, CON, the Former Governor of Anambra State.
A man whose life from the onset has been that of total dedication for the service of God and Country. A man whose life has been to groom the young generation to INSPIRE positive change in Nigeria and Africa.
Personally I feel sad to see that my good friend and colleague in Nigerian development is no more. This is the time Nigeria needs the voice of Late Chief Ezeife the most.
The Late and Former Governor of Anambra State on several occasions cried for the unity and understanding of all ethnic groups in Nigeria to love and live in peace and harmony being the benchmark for National Progress.
As a person I have never seen Chief Ezeife as an Igbo man rather a Pathfinder for Pan Nigeria and United Africa.
Chief Ezeife will be greatly remembered for his strong advocacy to always put Nigeria First, hence our organisation motto: JusticeNOW, NigeriaFIRST!. He has stood his ground despite all odds to seek for democratic values and freedom in Nigeria.
Most definitely we will surely miss a voice who has constantly been on National affairs.
His passion for the advancement of youth engagement in the Governance, Politics and Economic Growth of Nigeria remains the cardinal thing we gathered and will continue to gather for.
The strong passion of this great man is so deep in the history of our organisation, JusticeNOW International, an International Organisation committed to Human Rights, Good Governance, National Patriotism and Social Justice.
On several occasions Chief Ezeife through our monthly program, The Diplomatic Diaspora And National Strategic Stakeholders, has called for the need to put Nigeria First before personal, religious, regional and political interests. This is because only National Patriotism can move a nation like Nigeria forward.
Today, we are giving a Progress Report for the International Conference of yesterday which greatly celebrated a life of values and ethics. He was indeed a man so contented in what he had. One that was never desperate for wealth rather desperate to see a workable Nigeria and the progress of our young generation. These youths all over Nigeria and the World will surely miss him.
This is when Nigeria and Nigeria youths need Chief Ezeife the most but we take solace in the fact that his values and legacies are here with us, hence our commitments which brought about the Ezeife's oriented National Zoom Conference yesterday the 20th of December, 2023.
The theme of the event was: *The Life And Times of the Great EZEIFE: What The Young Generation Must Learn.* This topic was given by the values as stated. Our young generation must learn to be patient and hardworking. Our father and friend, Late Chief Ezeife was a man of vision and values. Our youths therefore must see the need to remain morally fit to attend National Political offices and other strategic engagement. Our young people must understand that without character, talent alone will take you no where.
The Former Governor was a youth-friendly leader. On daily basis, hundreds of youth and women would gather in his house to seek advice and knowledge which is most critical to make it in life.
While it's painful to have gathered to mourn and to also eulogised His Excellency, our youths must learn to see that only values and legacies is what a man will be remembered for because the bitter truth many don't want to hear is that we all will die one day and the mystery is that we don't even know when and how. It is only God the giver of life that knows.
Howbeit, while we still breath let's have humanity in our hearts and be good to mankind and be purposeful to our nation for the man we all are gathered yesterday for was a good man and a nation builder per excellence.
The 38th Monthly Extra-Ordinary Zoom Session of The Diplomatic, Diaspora And National Strategic Stakeholders Forum - a nation building program that holds every 20th day of the month, was officially dedicated to honour our organisation's First National Patron, Chief Ezeife.
In view of this, we shall continue to hold programs and Town Hall Meetings in honour of the values Late Chief Ezeife stood for. It will be targeted to INSPIRE the Young generation to move Nigeria forward via values and transformational leadership which the late Chief Ezeife was known for.
We therefore use this opportunity to specially thank our highly respected National Leaders and Development Partners who spoke differently on the values of His Excellency our beloved Late friend, while tasking the youths to not be distracted but commited to nation building.
Firstly, we salute our Keynote Speaker in the person of His Excellency Prof. Tunde Adeniran, Former Honourable Minister for Education and one time Former Ambassador of Nigeria to Germany. Prof. Tunde was also a Former National Chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP). His call on our youths speaks volumes to the need of reviving our damaged educational systems. The Former Diplomat was greatly pained for the lost of a good nation builder. We wish to appreciate His Excellency Prof. Tunde for always being there for JusticeNOW International through this monthly program. It is on record, Prof. Tunde on several occasions tendered our appeals on National affairs to the President for due considerations. We thank you our dear Professor.
Let me specially thank one of our National father and freedom fighter in the person of Pa Ayo Adebanjo the National Leader of Afenifere, a Yoruba socio-cultural organisation. Pa Ayo is indeed a blessing to our nation Nigeria. He is a great supporter of renewed mindsets. Pa Ayo Adebanjo has fought all through his life to get Nigeria moving. We wish to salute him for his call for a better Nigeria. We call on God to keep Pa Ayo stronger for us in Nigeria and JusticeNOW International.
Indeed it was very robust Ezeife oriented campaign for a new Nigeria with our erudite Prof. Pat Utomi, the Director of Lagos Business School. Prof. Pat Utomi remains one of the finest brains on national concerned. God bless him for calling on our youths to live right and purposeful.
Again, here comes our utmost gratitude for the passion deeply expressed by one largely discribed as the one between the old and the young, in the person of Otunba Segun Showunmi the former Spokesman for Atiku Abubakar/ PDP 2019 Presidential Spokesman. Otunba is currently aspiring for the office of the National Chairman of the People Democratic Party (PDP). His values and strong personality in this new edge remains the strength upon which our youths looks up to. We are therefore grateful for his strong advocacy for renewed mindsets on NigeriaFIRST which is our mandate. God bless you sir.
Let me specially thank my good friend, His Excellency Dr. Okwelieze Nwodo, Former Governor of Enugu State. Dr. Nwodo is a strong promoter of our NigeriaFIRST Campaign. His passion for a Nigeria that recognises dignity and respect for the Nigerian youth calls for the continued efforts to seek for youth engagement in our nation's governance structures.
It is imperative we appreciate some of our highly respected National Leaders who had earlier registered their solidarity with JusticeNOW International to honour our beloved Late friend, Chief Ezeife. Unfortunately some encountered technical issues. We therefore extend our heartfelt appreciation to our mother, Her Excellency Iyom Josephine Anenih, Former Hon. Minister for Women Affairs. We will continue to thank God for your life for always encouraging our young women in Nigeria politics and generally in nation building.
We will also appreciate my good friend, Barr. Lawrence Alobi, Former FCT Commissioner of Police. God bless you for your evergreen supports to our young people all over Nigeria.
Also, we will greatly appreciate our friends; His Eminence Rev. Dr. Isa El-buba a renowned Christian Leader and Convener for a Better Nigeria Initiative. Others are; Dr. Danfulani Ahmed, Former Director General of National Institute for Policy And Strategic Studies as well as Engr. Dr. Jide Adeniji, Former Chairman of FERMA, Nigeria. Very importantly, we wish to heartily thank our official Partner, 9News NIGERIA - a renowned media network commited in the peace and progress of Nigeria under the chairmanship of our good friend, Obinna Ejianya in Australia. We are more than ready to engage Mr. Obinna Ejianya in the call for a bigger and more strategic engagements for a better Nigeria. God bless sir.
We also wish to officially thank other Partners like SEGUN SHOWUNMI SUPPORTERS INTERNATIONAL (SSS International), MOJOTv USA and several others for their commitments and supports always. We remain grateful always. God bless you.
To this end, I wish to thank the International President and Honourable Speaker of JusticeNOW International, Comrade Vik-Morrow and all his great team for this great idea. You remain the pride of our young generation in the call for a renewed National Patriotism to move Nigeria and Africa forward.
At this juncture, JusticeNOW International aka: NigeriaFIRST Foundation through this medium wish to officially convey our heartfelt condolences to our dear friend and colleague in JusticeNOW International through the person of Chief Arc.
