RT. HON. MIKE ETABA DOLES OUT 21 MILLION, 500 BAGS OF RICE AND ASSORTED GIFT ITEMS AS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR LARGESSE IN OBUBRA/ETUNG FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

The member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Rt. Hon Mike Etaba in his characteristic manner stormed his Federal Constituency to celebrate the New Year with pomp and pageantry. Obubra nation was agog with the arrival of their welfarist and people oriented representative. While flagging off the palliative distribution in Obubra Local Government Area Rt Hon Etaba disclosed that in line with the policy thrust of government in the Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu’s led administration, he is totally committed to spreading the required sweetness to his Federal Constituency. 

He reiterated that he will always prioritize the welfare and security of his constituents at all times. Noting that he will continue to work assiduously to affect the lives of his constituents who stood by him against all odds in his third term aspiration and re-election into the House of Representatives. 

Rt Hon. Mike Etaba shared 20 bags of 50kg rice, One Million Naira cash gift and other assorted items per Ward in the 21 Political Wards of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency. Summarily Rt. Hon Etaba declared that his decision to go back home to celebrate the festive season with his constituents is to thank them immensely for leaving no stone unturned in their support and solidarity in all ramifications. Adding that he will continue to do his utmost best under God to fulfill his responsibility as their representative.

The items were meticulously released to the various Liaison Officers Male and Female, Ward chairmen, Women Leader, Youth Leaders, Chapter Chairmen and other party faithfuls in Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency and they were mandated to go back home and ensure the seamless distribution across the 11 Wards of Obubra and the 10 Wards of Etung respectively.

The beneficiaries applauded the benevolence and persistent support of Rt. Hon. Etaba for his constituents in season and out of season. They stated emphatically that his exemplary leadership is worthy of emulation. According to them the lawmaker did three solid empowerment Programmes in 2023 alone where multiple people were trained and empowered. He further donated motorbikes, tricycles and grinding machines to hundreds of his constituents in Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency. 

Speaking Agbor Fossi - representative of Iyamoyong Ward, Mary Edom - Female Liaison Officer, Ababene Ward, Comrade Grace Oyom - Former Treasurer, National Youth Council Obubra Chapter, Egba Eborty Francis - Liaison Officer, Ofodua Ward, Oyama Ejena Francis - Women Leader, Apiapum Ward all unanimously re-affirmed their unalloyed support and solidarity to the lawmaker, noting that he has provided succour to those who need it the most. is constituents.

Critical stakeholders and leaders of thought were not left out in the magnanimity of Rt. Hon Mike Etaba. He further called on his constituents and all Cross Riverians to redefine their loyalty and absolute commitment to the people’s first government in 2024.
