Recently, the Honourable Commissioner for Information in Cross River State, Dr. Erasmus Ekpang, played host to his counterparts from APC-governed states under the Progressive Governors' Forum (PGF) for a two-day strategic meeting. The event, held at the prestigious Transcorp Hotel in Calabar, provided a platform for the commissioners to share ideas and discuss ways to enhance governance and communication in their respective states.
The meeting, was attended by commissioners from various APC-governed states, with the Director-General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Mallam Jubril Ndace, joining the session on the second day.
During the meeting, the commissioners unanimously pledged their unwavering loyalty to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Governor of Cross River State, for his remarkable developmental strides in the state.
The commissioners commended Governor Otu's efforts in transforming Cross River State and expressed their commitment to supporting his administration's initiatives. They also discussed strategies to effectively communicate the achievements of APC-governed states to the public.
The meeting was indeed an interesting and productive session, with the commissioners departing Calabar with renewed commitment to advancing the cause of the APC and supporting the developmental agenda of their respective states.
