Such prestigious national and internationally recognized honours are only conferred on few deserving individuals who have distinguished themselves in both their private and public profiles.
Cross Riverians across the divide and millions of Nigerians are delighted that your name featured prominently as one of the distinguished and deserving awardees.
It was not surprising that you were among the distinguished honourees as your mature and proactive statecraft coupled with your achievements as one of the Most Performing Governors in Nigeria, gave you the needed edge over other competitors, your colleagues and those in the private sector of the Nigerian economic and social life.
I personally view this award as an energizer and the recognition accorded you as a further confirmation of my own innermost assessment of your personae in both our private discussions, public utterances and the general view of family members, friends, colleagues, opponents and admirers.
I urge you to remain unflinchingly committed to the ideals that have so distinguished you from the rest of the general pack.
Furthermore, I assure you that as a winner and a willing tool for the socio-economic and political transformation of Cross River State and Nigeria as a whole, my entire Federal constituency and I feel obliged to always identify with your aspirations and the many defining legacies you will etch on the sands of time.
You are indeed a transformative leader and your exceptional achievements and unparalleled leadership in Cross River State are held in high esteem.
Your categorization in the Gold Plague Category of the awards places you in an even greater State and national limelight.
