*SEPARATE YOURSELF: A CALL TO HOLINESS*
*MASSAGE BY G.O. PASTOR PAUL OGBAN*
*BY:-: PST BILL FRANCIS BILL*
Separate yourself from the world, for it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" We are called to be separate, to be set apart for God's purposes. As Jesus said in Matthew 10:34, "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword."
Separate yourself from sin, for it is written in Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" Recognize your old nature is dead and you are now alive in Christ. As Colossians 3:5-6 says, "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry."
Separate yourself from false teachings, for it is written in 1 Timothy 4:1-3, "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons." Be discerning and test every spirit. As 1 John 4:1 says, "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."
Any child of God will not associate themselves with the things of the world, for we are called to be holy and set apart. As it is written in 1 John 2:15-17, "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them." We must not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, as Romans 12:2 says.
Daddy G.O says, "The world doesn't value what they have. We are in a generation where people kill their own prophets and worship native doctors." Pastor Paul Ogban, the General Overseer, wants the world to know that he is not interested in crowds, but in heaven. His focus is on pleasing God, not men. By separating yourself, you will experience a closer walk with God, greater anointing and power, increased fruitfulness, and better representation of Christ. Heed the call to separation, as 2 Corinthians 6:17 urges us, "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." As Jesus said in Matthew 7:14, "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
