In a remarkable display of commitment to education and youth empowerment, *Amb. Julius O Kijuo PhD* a young politician and successful businessman in the real estate sector, has announced a groundbreaking scholarship initiative. This program allocates ₦2.2 million* to support 11 aspiring university students across the eleven wards of Boki, an effort to honor his peers and inspire future generations.


The announcement was made during the oath-taking ceremony of *Dr. Precious Kijie Obi*, recognized as Boki's youngest female medical doctor, who recently graduated from the University of Calabar. The event celebrated Dr. Obi's achievement and symbolized hope and encouragement for the youth in the region.


Amb. Kijuo, often referred to as the "Political Star Boy," emphasized the importance of education in his speech. He expressed pride in the recent academic achievements of Boki's youth, stating, “Just months ago, Boki celebrated my journey as one of the youngest academic doctors. Today, we gather to celebrate Dr. Obi and to motivate others who may face challenges in pursuing higher education.”


Kijuo shared a personal story of resilience, revealing how financial difficulties stressed his own educational journey. My Parents gave me the best Education during my Primary and Secondary Education, they later  experienced  financial crisis, i took it upon himself to fund my education, leading me to a doctorate degree through relentless effort and perseverance. I made a covenant with God to give back and support those in similar situations, "I will give even my last to help those who wish to pursue their education but lack the financial means." Dr Kijuo Further Stated.


This scholarship program aims to provide an opportunity for students to enroll in Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) or Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programs, allowing them to gain admission to universities at an early age. The oath-taking ceremony, attended by prominent figures such as Mr. John Owan, Chairman of UNICAL Microfinance, Hon.
