(PRESIDENCY)
Hon.Minister Dr Beta Edu, Senior Chief Advocate, Honourable Chief Bill Francis Bill, addresses Mister President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and fellow Nigerians. I stand before you today to declare unequivocally that Dr. Betta Edu is innocent of all allegations leveled against her. As her Senior Chief Advocate, I have thoroughly examined the facts and can confidently attest to her unwavering commitment to serving humanity.
Dr. Edu's remarkable achievements in the healthcare sector and her tireless efforts as Commissioner for Health in Cross River State demonstrate her dedication to the well-being of Nigerians. Her leadership and vision have positively impacted countless lives, inspiring a new generation of leaders.
The recent allegations against Dr. Edu have raised concerns among Nigerians. It is crucial that we remain objective, prioritizing fact-finding and standing against unjust attempts to discredit her.
As a renowned medical doctor and politician, Dr. Edu has held various positions, including National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress. Her exemplary leadership and vision have earned her recognition, including the Nigeria Quintessential Woman Award. Notably, Dr. Edu and her team gave their all during President Tinubu's campaign, demonstrating unwavering support and dedication. It's essential to recognize that Dr. Edu's contributions were invaluable, and President Tinubu's mantra "who works suppose chop" resonates deeply. It's unjust to use allegations to discredit her; instead, we should focus on her accomplishments and the positive impact she's had on Nigeria.
Dr. Edu's love for humanity is outstanding, and her work in promoting gender equality and social justice has been remarkable. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing policies aimed at reducing poverty and improving living conditions for vulnerable populations.
I urge President Tinubu and the EFCC to acknowledge Dr. Edu's clearance of all allegations. Having been declared innocent, it is unjust to continue keeping her from serving the nation. Dr. Edu's leadership and expertise are crucial, especially in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs. I implore the federal government to reinstate her to her position without delay.
In conclusion, I reaffirm Dr. Betta Edu's innocence and commitment to serving Nigeria. Ever since Dr. Edu left the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, it's been like a graveyard - nobody is talking about the vulnerable, and the masses are suffering. No one is visiting interior communities to deliver dividends of democracy to the masses. This is unfair, as Dr. Edu's leadership made a significant impact in these areas. Her absence has left a gaping hole, and I implore the federal government to recognize her contributions and reinstate her to her position.
Sincerely,
Pastor Bill Francis Bill
Senior Chief Advocate
