HON. FRANCIS EKPO INSPECTS ODUKPANI ELECTRICITY PROJECT



 SEA Director General Inspects Near-Completion of Odukpani Electrification Project

The Director General of the Cross River State Electrification Agency (SEA), Mr. Francis Ekpo  has inspected the ongoing electrification project in Adiabo, Odukpani Local Government Area, which is now 80% completed. The project, once finalized, will provide consistent electricity to five communities: Obot-Etubom, Usung Nkara, Isong Adiabo Okurikang, Akani Obio (partly), and Okumbe.


Mr. Ekpo, alongside engineers and consultants, conducted a thorough on-site assessment. He commended the engineers for their commitment and expressed deep appreciation to the host communities for their cooperation. He assured residents that the project would be completed soon, aligning with the "People's First" agenda of Governor Bassey Otu's administration.


The Director General also urged local youths to take responsibility for safeguarding the infrastructure, stressing that while the government provides essential services, communities must ensure the proper safeguarding of these projects for sustained benefit.
